Self-catering or not!
Silver Birch Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage situated on the Southeastern edge of Llandovery, however, due to its location, you have a plethora of quality takeaways all within a few hundred yards of the property. This includes an Indian restaurant/takeaway, a Chinese and a Traditional Fish & Chip shop amongst others. Add to this the five tea rooms/cafes as well as the several pubs and hotels, that all offer an excellent range of food and you may find that self-catering element is somewhat diminished.
As you can see from the above map, although you are just 50m from the High Street and 400m from the centre of the town, however you are less than 70m from the open countryside. This holiday cottage does offer you the best of both worlds. However, if you like to cook, the cottage kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The town main Co-op store is just a short walk from Silver Birch cottage, as is the Bakers and Butchers. If the weather is good and you like alfresco cooking and dining, the cottage has a nice patio area and a gas BBQ. Luckily, with all this talk of food, there are many great activities and walks you can take to burn off those calories.
