FAQs
Q; I am worried about making a booking due to potential Covid-19 issues with previous guests.
A; As a newly refurbished cottage, we have not taken any bookings and won’t do until it is deemed safe. We will initially ensure a 3-day space between bookings and undertake a deep clean during this time. We will remove books, magazines and other frequently touched items that cannot be deep cleaned. We will revise these steps overtime and will closely follow any government guidance in relation to this.
Q; I would like to make a reservation for later in the year but am concerned that it may get cancelled due to the Corona Virus! If so, would I be able to get a refund?
A; You can book your stay with confidence, if you are unable to travel as a result of government advice, a track and trace restriction on your travel or because you or anyone in your party is suffering symptoms of Covid19, we will transfer your holiday to a later date or offer a full refund.
Q; Can I amend my booking as a result of the Coronavirus?
A; If you make a booking and are unable to fulfil your stay due to any related Coronavirus issue, then yes you will be able to amend your booking
Q; What should I do if I or one of my party feels unwell during my stay?
A; In the first instance you should follow the government advice here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/. If the symptoms are Coronavirus related, please contact us before you leave the property so that we can make special cleaning arrangements and reschedule other bookings.
Q; My balance payment is due for my holiday in August, shall I pay it?
A; Guests with outstanding balance payments are not expected to pay until we get the government all-clear to travel to holiday cottages.
